Soon after sending you my Communication, I received a visit from the Harbour Master and the Medical Officer of Health, who went to see the sick man of whom I spoke to you therein. The first of these gave me a verbal order to remove with the ship under my Command to the bay on the north of the port, to hoist the quarantine flag; and to place the patient in a boat which would be sent to me for the purpose, and where he would be visited daily by the Medical Health Officer of the port;
